Description
Blanca Li is a choreographer, dancer and director, and a member of the French Académie des Beaux-Arts. She headed Madrid’s Teatros del Canal (2019–23) and chaired La Villette in Paris (2024–25). Born in Granada, Spain, she trained for five years with Martha Graham. Her Paris-based company, touring worldwide, creates immersive works such as Le Bal de Paris (VR) and The Shadow (mixed reality). She has directed three feature films. With Insulart, a virtual cultural center and platform, she aims to redefine access to culture and artistic creation.
The Blanca Li Company creates and distributes more than 20 stage shows, events, films and XR content. Its fully integrated creation studio specializes in phygital production, combining choreography and real-time 3D motion capture. It excels in large-scale distribution of multiuser XR experiences such as Le Bal de Paris (70,000 spectators) and The Shadow (9,000), presented worldwide.
